I started out with Colonization about six or seven years ago, i liked it so much i bought other Sid Meier games such as Civilization and Master of Orion. After several years of wasting my life playing these dumb games by myself, i gave up on them mostly. Then by chance i got into them again and especially Civilization a few months before i convinced my best friend to play. Stranger was very reluctant and thought the game was exceedingly stupid, and i literally had to force him to play. Eventually he caught on and got more hooked to the game than i was. It was around this time we heard that multiplayer was coming out. I unfortunatly had a Mac and Stranger didn't have a computer. We bought the multiplayer anyways, and would play hotseat games against each other in the library (I always won, of course, hehe). Last summer i got a new PC and i started playing games online in the league. I did fairly well and was in the top ten in the old Civleague last summer.
I consider myself to be a very good player, not the best but certianly a highly ranked. Most of all I enjoy fairplay and honesty, and i truly despise people who would dare cheat at this game. I love the league community, despite the fact we are all a bunch of sad losers way to focused on a game, i have met some good people here and enjoy talking with you all. I am very proud to be a member of the Sayen tribe, I am proud to be on the side of justice, democracy and goodness. I can be long winded, so i'll just stop here.

Hello, I have been playing this game for a very long time. I started playing civ on super nintendo a long time ago. I then purchesed civ 1 for computer and played that until they came out with civ 2. I ended up buying two copies of civ2 cause i scratched one. Then i got civ2 MPGE, and have been playing it ever since. I should have TofT by now and alpha centuri. I didnt like the looks of them so I never bought them. I know everything about this game. I have been playing multiplayer off and on for a little over a year. I was on the old gameleague and got up to 1300 points. I used to be on the old tribes too. I was on the NorthStar tribe, which played one game against CyberShy and someone else. I horriblely anhilated them on the powergraph and we never finished the game. I was on the new gameleague for a while but i got fed up with losing points to the powergraph on three to four hour games so i no longer play on the gameleague. I was able to peak at around 1700 points before i started losing them for stupid reasons. I would wipe out one or two civs and then come in third on a powergraph and lose points. Jamie liked it when I would play ; ). Well here is a cool picture of me in a canoe at almost sun down. The sun is right behind my back and makes for a cool image.
